1. Can I do burning in the city?

The burning of garbage, leaves, and other materials other than for campfire purposes are prohibited within the city limits. Burning pits cannot exceed 36" in diameter.

2. When are city dumpster hours?

City dumpster is open the 1st and 3rd Saturday from 8 am to noon or until dumpsters are full, all year and the 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 3 pm to 5 pm, or until dumpsters are full, from April to October and no Wednesdays during the winter. It is closed on all holiday weekends.

3. When is brush pickup?

1st and 3rd Thursday from April 15th through November 1st with the exception of Christmas trees. Brush should be placed on the terrace between the sidewalk and curb. Place butt ends in the same direction as the traffic flows. Don’t pile over 3 ft high. Must be piled in an orderly fashion with no pieces over 6" diameter. Tangled piles will be tagged and not picked up until re-piled. You may haul brush to the leaf site in the designated area. For questions, call Scott at the City Garage: (920) 386-3305.
