1. When do I need to have my pet licensed by?

All dogs & cats must be registered within the city limits, including inside cats. Registration deadline is March 31st every year. Rabies vaccinations must be obtained prior to a dog or cat license being issued, if the vaccination is current then you just have to register your pet. A late fee of $25 will be assessed if not registered by March 31st. New residents will need to register their pets within 30 days of moving in. Please go to City Hall to register your pets.

2. What kind of pets are prohibited from the city?

All poisonous animals and reptiles including rear-fang snakes & constrictor snakes are prohibited in the city.

3. What are City Hall hours?

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, closed from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm for lunch.

4. Where can I vote?

Voting is held at the Juneau Community Center located at 500 Lincoln Dr. on election days. For absentee ballots, please contact City Hall or go to MyVote
