All dogs & cats must be registered within the city limits, including inside cats. Registration deadline is March 31st every year. Rabies vaccinations must be obtained prior to a dog or cat license being issued, if the vaccination is current then you just have to register your pet. A late fee of $25 will be assessed if not registered by March 31st. New residents will need to register their pets within 30 days of moving in. Please go to City Hall to register your pets.
Voting is held at the Juneau Community Center located at 500 Lincoln Dr. on election days. For absentee ballots, please contact City Hall or go to MyVote

Minor Repairs: No building permit shall be required for any minor repair or alteration which does not change the occupancy area, structural strength, fire protection or exits of the building when the cost is less than five hundred dollars ($500.00). Click here for an application
City dumpster is open the 1st and 3rd Saturday from 8 am to noon or until dumpsters are full, all year and the 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 3 pm to 5 pm, or until dumpsters are full, from April to October and no Wednesdays during the winter. It is closed on all holiday weekends.
1st and 3rd Thursday from April 15th through November 1st with the exception of Christmas trees. Brush should be placed on the terrace between the sidewalk and curb. Place butt ends in the same direction as the traffic flows. Don’t pile over 3 ft high. Must be piled in an orderly fashion with no pieces over 6" diameter. Utility bills are mailed on the 8th of each month, and are due on the 28th. Late fees are applied the day after due date.
